Privacy Policy

EFFECTIVE JULY 7, 2026

Hone is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no personal profile. This policy explains what little data exists and where it goes.

Data that stays on your device

Your protocol (habits), daily check-offs, Edge score, streaks, and history are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. To validate purchases and manage your subscription, our payments provider (RevenueCat, Inc.) receives your purchase receipt and an anonymous, app-generated identifier — never your name, Apple ID, or payment details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Analytics

We collect anonymous usage events (for example: app opened, habit checked, share card created) to understand what to improve. These events are tied to a random identifier, not to you. They contain no habit names and no personal information. We do not sell data, we do not run third-party ads, and we do not use cross-app tracking.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally by the operating system on your device. No notification data leaves your device.

Sharing

Flex cards are images generated on your device. Nothing is posted anywhere unless you share it yourself through the iOS share sheet.

Children

Hone is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
